I am a self-taught polymer clay artist, who is also in love with silk painting and crocheting. I grew up in Russia and now live in Mid-Michigan.
Although I have a degree in science, I have always had a passion for creating things, and when my family moved to the United States, I devoted myself to graphic design. I have been a freelance graphic designer for seven years, and once, while working with a client, I stumbled upon a blog that talked about painting silk scarves. Right away I was drawn to the art and decided to create my own scarf designs.
Later, I discovered polymer clay while talking to one of my customers who wanted to have a matching scarf buckle for her silk scarf. I went to the craft shop, bought my first two blocks of Sculpey, and on that day my polymer clay journey began! I have been playing with polymer clay for 5 years now. I love working with this amazing material, learning its endless possibilities and sharing my discoveries with others.
